Editorial Process
The illy sustainArt Observatory's editorial team monitors the development of the website. It guarantees its content's quality and coherence. The editorial team monitors that all uploaded material follows the editorial policy guidelines. For this reason, it reviews all uploaded content and, together with the panel(link che manda alla sezione dell'about section), approves it or doesn't approve it for publishing. It also reserves the right to remove uploaded material which does not adhere to the policy of the website with regards to respect for moral and third party's rights.Editorial Policy
The illy sustainArt Observatory is based on a transparent and consistent selection process. Decisions regarding the publishing of artworks, texts, online exhibitions and news/deadlines will involve a collaboration of both the illy sustainArt Observatory's panel and the editorial team and will be made on the basis of our editorial guidelines.Guidelines
ARTISTS'/CURATORS'/ART CRITICS' WORK
Artists', curators' and art critics' work which shows originality of concept, coherence and high quality aesthetics, is well produced and is innovative and engaging will be accepted on the website.
Work by artists who have already had on their record solo shows in museums and/or public institutions, work by curators who have an ongoing contract with a private gallery, will not be accepted on the website.
In addition, work that promotes interest of any particular religion or religious groups, governments or corporations as a primary purpose, together with work that promotes sexism, racism, homophobia, or any sort of discrimination will not be accepted on the website.
ONLINE EXHIBITIONS
Online exhibitions which show originality of concept, coherence, are innovative and engaging, and display art works which are those of registered users will be accepted on the website.
Online exhibitions which, despite displaying different art works, have already been shown elsewhere, do not show originality of concept, display works of artists not registered to the website will not be accepted on the website.
In addition, online exhibitions that promotes interest of any particular religion or religious groups, governments or corporations as a primary purpose, together with work that promotes sexism, racism, homophobia, or any sort of discrimination will not be accepted on the website.
NEWS AND DEADLINES
News on exhibitions, biennales, festivals and events and/or deadlines for art prizes, residencies, calls for work and portfolio reviews that are based and/or take place in one or more of the countries classified by the International Monetary Fund as emerging and developing economies and are open to artists, curators and art critics who live and work in these countries will be welcomed and accepted for publication.
What happens next
Once work is uploaded to the website an email will be sent to the email address provided informing you that the server has received it. The illy sustainArt Observatory's editorial team, together with the illy sustainArt Observatory's panel, will then view the work and will subsequently notify by email if and when the personal account will be online.Privacy Policy
